Tidnum is live
Upload your chapters and Tidnum builds the world bible — characters, places, factions and lore, kept current as you write.
Tidnum is open. If you write serial fiction, you already know the problem: by chapter forty you can't remember which cousin betrayed whom, and neither can your readers.
Tidnum reads the chapters you've already written and builds the record for you.
What it does
- Extracts as you write. Add a chapter and Tidnum pulls out the characters, locations, factions, items and lore, and links them together.
- Keeps itself current. New chapters update existing entries instead of creating duplicates, so an entry reflects everything known so far.
- Publishes a reader wiki. When you're ready, make it public — with your own colours, and on your own domain if you're on Scholar. Readers never pay, and there are no ads.
- Answers questions about your own book. Ask what a character knew at a given point, or where a thread was left hanging.
Starting out
The Free plan covers one novel, up to 100 chapters, with 500 credits a month. Credits are only spent building your world bible — reading it is always free, for you and your readers.
Your chapters stay private unless you publish a wiki. Your canon stays yours.
